In response to the crisis, the Palestinian Civil Defence agency reported that thousands of displaced individuals have experienced severe disruption due to the floods. They have called for emergency assistance, urging international aid donors to provide new tents and suitable shelter accommodations. According to spokesman Mahmoud Basal, the weather has inflicted significant damage on the existing tents, jeopardizing the health and well-being of vulnerable families as water infiltrates living spaces, contaminating belongings and mattresses.
