On Tuesday, confrontations erupted in Jenin as Israeli special forces engaged in a firefight with armed Palestinians who had barricaded themselves inside a residence. This incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals, while another man sustained injuries, as reported by the Israeli military. Earlier in the day, a Palestinian man who was reportedly firing upon Israeli soldiers was also killed.

In addition to these clashes, a tragic incident occurred when a 60-year-old woman lost her life due to gunfire from an Israeli checkpoint. Another Palestinian died when his motorcycle was struck by an Israeli military vehicle, underlining the intensity of the current situation. The Palestinian Authority further indicated that another individual, wanted for previous incidents, was killed by Palestinian security forces after allegedly attacking their headquarters in Jenin.

Since the initiation of increased military operations in the West Bank earlier this year, over 30 Palestinians have reportedly lost their lives. This operation began amidst a ceasefire in Gaza, resulting in the displacement of tens of thousands of Palestinians from their homes.
