As the conflict continues, health authorities in Gaza report alarming statistics, with the Gaza Ministry of Health documenting 134 fatalities and over 1,155 injuries on a single day. The humanitarian landscape is grim; reports state that millions are facing starvation due to the blockade that severely limits the delivery of essential supplies. According to a representative from the World Food Programme, the levels of despair among Gazans have reached unprecedented heights, with many willing to take significant risks to access dwindling resources.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating conditions, receiving urgent appeals from those trapped in Gaza. It emphasizes the urgent need for the blockade to be lifted to allow humanitarian aid to reach those most in need.

A coalition of 25 countries, including European nations and allies such as Australia and Canada, has issued a statement calling for an immediate end to the hostilities in Gaza and urging Israel to adhere to international humanitarian law. This collective plea underscores the critical humanitarian situation while reaffirming the dignity and rights of the Palestinian people.
